About the Job
Our client urgently seeks a Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist capable of delivering outstanding patient care, supporting clinicians by taking and recording patient histories and key information, scheduling appointments, and handling other clinical duties in Altoona, WI.
Position Details:
- Initial schedule: 1 or 2 days week.
- Clinic's open: Thursday & some Fridays.
- Hours: 7:15 am - 6:00 pm (varying with patient appointments).
- Must attend a one-day paid training session in Charlotte, NC.
- Compensation: $275 per day
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of experience.
- Phlebotomist with at least 1 year of experience.
- Skilled in managing inventory and patient flow efficiently.
- Compassionate and supportive care provider with excellent bedside manner.
- Capable of delivering prompt, professional, and thorough service.
- Able to multitask effectively and excel in fast-paced settings.
- Preferably with experience in clinical or patient-facing roles.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Organized and proactive in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, EHR/EMR systems, and MS Office is advantageous.
- Customer service, receptionist experience, POS systems, and payment processing skills are a plus; sales background is beneficial
Experience:
- Phlebotomy: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical office: 1 year (Preferred)
