About the Job
Our client is looking for a committed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to contribute significantly to patient care. The ideal candidate will handle a broad spectrum of responsibilities, such as diagnosing health issues, delivering treatments, and conducting consultations to assess patient needs thoroughly. They will also develop and prescribe effective, personalized treatment plans based on each patient's specific situation.
Position Details:
- Initial Schedule: 1 - 2 days per weekday, with occasional Saturdays
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break); hours may vary
- Compensation: $650 - $800 per day, based on experience
- Must be available to attend a paid 2-day training class in North Carolina
Qualifications:
- Sport medicine/Orthopedic-focused exams
- Joint injections in an outpatient setting
- Ability to read and interpret X-ray and MRI
- Manage patient flow (Day/clinic hours)
- Ensure delivery of timeliness, cleanliness, and professionalism to each patient
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent bedside manner required
- Must be a team player
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Required licensing and experience:
- 1-year clinical experience required
- Must be licensed in the state of Texas
